About Us
Chakdah Natuner Khoje Official Website
Chakdah Natuner Khoje ,a non-governmental organization that began its journey in 2021 and is working tirelessly for the upliftment of underprivileged people across Sundarban, Bankura, Purulia, Murshidabad, Jhargram, and parts of Jharkhand. Founded in the aftermath of the devastating Cyclone YAAS, which severely affected the Sundarbans region, the organization started as a grassroots relief initiative providing emergency support to affected communities. What began as relief work has evolved into a long-term mission dedicated to supporting marginalized communities through sustainable development programs.
We primarily focus on child education, nutrition, and women's empowerment. At present, we operate 10 free educational centers serving approximately 400 students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
Students are provided with nutritious tiffin meals at the end of each class to support their health and well-being.
Beyond education, we actively encourage children to participate in sports and games, recognizing their importance in physical, mental, and social development.
We have arranged for registered homeopathy doctors to provide free medical treatment to residents of Ranipur and Chotomollakhali in Sundarban, Simni in Purulia, and Gopalnagar in Bankura.
As part of our commitment to women's empowerment, we also conduct garment stitching and skill-development training programs for economically disadvantaged village women, helping them achieve financial independence and self-reliance.
The organization is registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961 with Registration No. S0028930 of 2022–23. Regestered under 12A & Approved under Section 80G of Income Tac Act 1961, as well as holds a CSR-1 Certificate approved by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India
